Scott Hansen is a filmmaker and music video director from Virginia Beach, VA. Since his graduation from the Savannah college of Art & Design in 2005, Scott and his team have produced and directed over 250 music videos for clients worldwide. Working with such artists as Willie Nelson, A Day To Remember, ILL NINO & Fear Factory as well as many commercial companies such as Mountain Dew, Doritos, Citi Trends, Discovery Channel. MTV's Headbangers Ball nominated Scott for the artist CARNIFEX for music video of the Year. In 2010 his music video for Honor By August received national attention by winning many festivals as well. This year alone he has had over 15 music videos air on major networks like MTV2, MTV, BET, CMT and a 3 week run at the number one spot on CMT for his award winning country Music Video called Moonshine Bandits. Besides music videos and commercials Scott's true passion is film. He completed a successful short film called Adrenaline (2008) that won two "Best Horror/Action film awards. One of his first big budget music videos was for an icon, Willie Nelson. The video was shot on Willie's ranch in Austin, TX. Got his start in music videos in 2007 and has completed over 250 since then as well as over 30 commercials. Won various awards for his work on Animals As Leaders (2011) and set a record on MTV2 for the longest video to hold in the countdown (A Day To Remember, 2010). Was a high school football quarterback for Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, VA before injuring his left ACL. The injury prompted to Scott to apply for Art School at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2002. Attended Savannah College of Art & Design in 2002 and was on the road to become a Sequential comic book artist when he found his passion for film on the second half of his senior year. Is in the process of building a new studio for his production company Digital Thunderdome in Atlanta, GA.
